About Fix Medical
An independent ultrasound repair lab,
not a manufacturer's service desk
We are a third-party repair laboratory in Zhengzhou, China. Since 2012 we have helped hospitals, imaging centres and biomedical service companies keep their probes, boards and systems in service — usually at a fraction of OEM replacement cost.
Fix Medical is an independent repair laboratory. We are not tied to any single manufacturer, which means our incentive is to repair your equipment rather than to sell you a replacement. Our team is made up of biomedical engineers and technicians with more than 20 years of hands-on experience on ultrasound hardware.
We work at component level — rebuilding probe arrays, replacing lenses and cables, and reworking PCB assemblies — instead of swapping whole modules. That is what keeps a repair economically sensible where an OEM quote would not be.
Everything happens in our own workshop: incoming inspection, fault diagnosis, repair, acoustic and electrical testing, and final quality control. We do not subcontract your case, and we do not pass it on to another vendor.
Who we work with
What we repair
Three repair disciplines, one lab — and refurbished stock when you need a unit while yours is with us.
Ultrasound probes
Dead elements, black lines, lens delamination, cracked housing, cable and strain-relief damage, connector rebuilds.
View probe repair →Boards & PCBs
DBM boards, beamformer boards, CPU motherboards, I/O boards and power supplies — repaired at component level.
View board repair →Systems & consoles
No image, error codes, power failures, fan and thermal faults, port and peripheral failures.
View system repair →Refurbished probes
Tested units held in stock, so your room stays running while your own probe is in the lab.
Browse refurbished →Brands we service
Convex, linear, phased array, endocavity and volume probes, plus boards and systems across the major OEM platforms.
Inside our lab
Every unit follows the same documented path. You get the test results, not just a bill.
Incoming inspection
Your unit is logged against its RMA number, photographed on arrival, and checked for transit damage before anything is opened.
Diagnosis
Electrical and acoustic measurement to localise the fault to a specific element, channel or component — not a guess.
Component-level repair
Array rebuild, lens and cable replacement, or PCB rework, using parts held in stock for the major platforms.
Verification & burn-in
Tested against OEM performance specifications, run for stability, then packed for return shipping with tracking.
Why service teams choose us
The practical reasons a biomedical department sends a unit to Zhengzhou instead of back to the OEM.
Independent, OEM-neutral
No manufacturer affiliation, no incentive to upsell you into a replacement.
Everything in-house
Diagnosis, repair and QC happen in our own workshop. We don't subcontract or resell your case.
Parts held in stock
DBM, beamformer, CPU and I/O boards plus common probes, so turnaround isn't held up by sourcing.
Tested before it ships back
Every repaired board and probe is verified against OEM performance specifications, with results documented.
Up to 12-month warranty
Service warranty on the repair, with the exact term stated on your quote before you approve.
Worldwide, with tracking
RMA number, packing instructions for your country, and tracked return shipping.
Our warranty and quality commitment
We would rather tell you a unit is not worth repairing than take your money for a repair that will not hold. That is the whole basis of how we quote.
- Repairs carry a service warranty of up to 12 months, depending on the repair type and part replaced.
- The exact warranty term is stated on your quote before you approve any work.
- Every unit is tested before it leaves the lab; test reports are available on request.
- If a unit is not economically repairable, we report back and you are not charged for the repair.
- Repair and test procedures are documented and traceable by RMA number.
- Customer details, images and test data are never shared with third parties.
